This Privacy Policy explains how Fincency ("we", "us") handles information when you use fincency.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and an encrypted password.
• Financial records you enter: incomes, bills, debts, savings, goals, investments, budgets, bank account names and balances, and statements you choose to import.
• Basic usage data: sign-in times and technical information needed to run the Service.

We do not ask for, and you should not enter, bank passwords, card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or OTPs. Fincency never connects to your bank or moves money.

2. How we use information

• To provide your dashboard, reports and reminders.
• To generate AI suggestions. When you ask for one, relevant figures from your records are sent to a third-party AI provider to produce the suggestion.
• To keep the Service secure, fix problems and understand how features are used.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that host the Service, store data, or process AI requests on our behalf, or where required by law.

4. Storage and security

Your records are stored with a cloud database provider and protected so that each user can access only their own records. A limited number of administrators may view data to provide support. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your choices

• You can edit or delete your records at any time inside the app.
• You can ask us to delete your account and data by contacting us.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as light/dark theme. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
